Hi
I have almost 4 years of IT-software exp in Perl/Unix but I don't feel good enough to continue my career with these technologies. May be because I am not getting frequent interviews call for these. I wanted to learn any new software technology( tool/languages/framework) which is in demand in current market and could provide me a healthy package. Can you please suggest? Am I planning in right direction, what's your opinion?

well if you're looking for an ensured IT career, you should be updated with the new software and tools coming along with the demanding need of the company and techie people today.
with regards to OS, it's still windows that is trending. for a programmer, ubuntu will be fine. php and css languages for programmers. but if you're up to software trends, digital art is going strong.. so photoshop/blender.., video production flash, camtasia, after effects, actually there are so many software out there, what you choose maybe should be base on your real passion and interest. I hope you get my thought. thanks! Last edited by camtasiascreenrec01; 03-01-2012 at 02:37 AM. Reason: forget something |
