Default I can't get Gbridge to start

I have downloaded Gbridge and have successfully used it in the past, for about 3 months now. Two days ago it stopped working in the middle of a session with an associate of mine. I could not get a connection for a whole day, so I uninstalled then did a clean install. It keeps trying to connect, but never gets a connection. It constantly asks me for my login credentials, which I supply to no avail. It tries to log on through 209.85.163.125 port 80.

Any suggestions?
Thanks and regards

Default same problem why no reply from google ?

I let the program upgrade and it gets the same error but different port

74.125.65.125,port 5222

after logging in, I get a notification every few minutes i get a notification above the icon "Gbridge. Connects to the world". Right click has available "Why no gbridge window?" then does the same routine.

tried the start menu "reset configuration' did not work.

used same username/pass and logged into googlemail.com

help please Google.

please make sure that the firewall on your computer doesn't block gbridge. The gbridge.exe binary was changed after upgrade, so maybe the firewall soft is confused.

I use norton internet security. Disabled firewall (had upgrades before never a problem). After disabled, did not fix. it appears to be trying a specific ip.

I tried the test name/id in another forum area, no go, and installed googletalk it worked just fine.

removed the firewall rules for gbridge and restarted program- it built full open entries for gbridge. still no joy on logging in.

**** added traceroute to first post ****

Can you send us the errorlog files to support@gbridge.com? In the log tab, right click and select "open log file directory", Gb_error_0.log and Gb_error_1.log are the error log files. Thanks!
