Tried to Install version 1193 on Philips Noteboook using Vista HOME PREMIUM. First attempt, Gbridge was never installed, again appeared the message saying 'GBridge is not properly installed'.
Any news about these problems? I am about to give up on using Gbridge, unfortunately. |

I feel very sorry for this.
Is there anything in common among the computers that has installation problem? Same anti-virus software? Same vpn software from other vendor? Same language (other than english)? |

Language does not seem to be the problem or was untill 1.0.0.1177 as all computers use the same language. |

I guess maybe the AVG antivirus screws things up.
Please try: - Right click on the AVG icon in the task bar and select "Launch Control Center" - In AVG’s Control Center right click on "Firewall" and select “Configure”. - backup your settings - Click on the "Profile Switch" tab and double click on the "Gbridge Interface" to change the profile from unassigned to your preferred profile. - Under the Applications tab scroll down to Gbridge Client, double click on it and under Action select Allow. Please let us know the result. |

Gbridge 1.0 ran fine on a number of my computers, Windows XP and Vista Home Premium, different brands of hw. All Windows versions up-to-date, no firewall problems. After accepting the upgrade to 2.0, on ALL computers the version 1.0 cannot be de-installed and neither versions 1.0 and 2.0 run at all. Please advise me how to de-install version 1.0. I cannot find it using CCleaner.

when install 2.0, 1.0 was uninstalled automatically. When you say 2.0 doesn't run at all, do you see any error message? Can you send the errorlog to support@gbridge.com?
The errorlogs are located at c:\documents and settings\your-user-name\Application Data\Gbridge There are two files: Gb_error_0.log and Gb_error_1.log |

My problems have been solved by temporarily stopping an anti-keylogger program. After that, the old version 1 could be desinstalled and version 2.0 could be installed. Everything looks fine now.

What is the name and version of the anti-keylogger program? We may want to do some internal testing to reproduce the problem.
