Google Chrome App

Is there any plans to add an app to work on the Google Chrome OS? I enjoy using Gbridge and currently looking at getting a new laptop for work, and would rather just get something cheap and remote in if I need anything of my desktop back at the office. (Which is what I currently do using Gbridge).
