Remote desktop resolution

I apologize in advance if this has already been asked but I didn't get any results from the search. When I remote into the other PC, the desktop takes on the screen resolution/desktop size of my computer. My home computer is at 1920 x 1080 (24 inch monitor). My office computer shows that as well but if I remote into the work computer using Logmein, it reverts back to 1280 x 1024. Is there any way to change this as I do not need the remote desktop window to be the same size as the local desktop?
