Rsync instead of copy.

I use AutoSync to replicate large web-applications to the appropriate web servers from the build server. One thing that bugs me is the transferring of a several hundred megabyte file (the web-app) to propagate a small change.

rsync is a well understood algorithm that replicates changes using a minimum of bandwidth. For file updates and new files via autosync, could we get this algorithm implemented?
