Default Using Gbridge w/out MS Remote DEsktop

Hi! From what I see so far this looks like a great product, but I do have a question. I have Windows Vista Home Premium (I know I need to upgrade, but money is tight right now) which does not come with Remote DEsktop capablilites. Will I still be able to use Remote desktop on this machine, or am I out of luck? Thanks!

I found a solution in http://thegreenbutton.com and successfully added Remote Desktop to my Vista Premium a while ago. I just tested that Gbridge works with it! The problem is that I lost the exact thread among many threads that discussing it. Will let you know once I digged it out.

see http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/permalink/210408/242073/ShowThread.aspx#242073

It is a long thread and the procedure is a little bit acrobatic. Here is a summary:

* download http://mjwii.com/prog/termsrv.zip, extract it to a directory.
* in the extracted directory, keep 2 files (premium.bat and termonpremium.reg) and delete the rest (obseleted) files
* download the tweaked dll from http://rapidshare.com/files/90325478/termsrv.sp1.patched.dll.html
and put the file to the above directory
* now you have 3 files in the directory, run premium.bat as admin and you are done!

Please note that you need to configure a password for your remote account otherwise RDP will refuse to work.

btw, I had byte-compared the downloaded dll with the original dll on my windows, only a couple of bytes changes just as described in the thegreenbutton thread. I am running Vista premium sp1.
