can you provide more information, like what is the error message and send us the error log file if you don't mind? (c:\document and settings\your-username\applcation data\gbridge\gb_error_x.log?
btw, make sure your caps lock is not on :-)

I can login but get the above error message and then GoogleBridge restarts and then restarts again. Can use the programs because it just restarts and restarts. It asks me to send an error message but will not give me enough time to fill in the form before it restarts again.
A bit frustrated.

sorry for the inconvenience.
Please try gbridge without UPNP: click windows start -> program -> gbridge -> gbridge(no UPNP).
What is your router brand/model?
btw, it is Gbridge, not GoogleBridge :-)

Same problem only worse when noPup is used. It finds my "friend" but when I try to open it shuts down and gives me the "send error form". Same error as in title line appears.
Thanks for taking the time to help.

My router is a T-COM Speedport. W701V.
I have two desktops on the net and gbridge works just fine on the other computer.

Is the message like "Cannot start SecureShare server at port 6003, Please check your firewall setting and restart Gbridge." or some thing else?
what is your windows version?
Any firewall installed?
please pm the error log at: c:\documents and settings\your-usenamae\application data\gbridge\Gb_error_0.log
Thanks!

The error message is quoted in title.
Mcafee firewall is installed and gbridge has permission. The same with Window's firewall.
Windows XP SP3.
error log pm'd

The log show the internal webserver failed to start. Likely due to firewall reason. Can you disable your firewall and try again? The webserver need to bind to a tcp port to listen incoming request.

Does your co-worker use a normal gmail/googlemail account or a google app account?
Does his/her computer behind a firewall?

We are both behind a firewall and I am not sure the difference in the account type you are asking about. We both can go to the gmail page and log in without error, does that help?

normal gmail/googlemail accout ends with @gmail.com or @googlemail.com.
google app account ends with @your-domain
please ask your co-worker to make sure the caps lock is not on, since password is case sensitive.

Maybe you can ask her to retry a little bit later. Her account might be locked by Gtalk after several unsuccessful login attempts.

Thank you and we have waited (By the way this has been going on since Tuesday the 14th of October) and tried again today but she still can not log in with her gmail account name and password.

Any special character in her username / password?
Maybe ask her to get a new Google account for dedicate Gbridge purpose as a work around? Sorry for the inconvinence.

no special characters but... is it possible that there is a limite to the amount of characters? They use maciasheatingandcooling....
Your idea of setting up a second gmail account rocks... we'll do that.
