System in Standby Mode

Is there anyway to use Gbridge to wake up a system (That has been setup for Gbridge of course) that is in standby mode?

I don't like leaving my home system in full power mode all day. :(

I do not know any software that can wake itself up once the machine is in standby mode. But you might be able to checkout wakeup on LAN (google it). Basically you send out a magic ethernet packet and wake your machine out of standby mode. It works for some computers.
