Hi - I can see this being useful as a backup across 'friendly' parties, for example, I can sync to my family's PCs and have them sync to mine.

Except I'm not that keen on them having read access to my files (nor are they to me).

I think what you have is very close. What I'd want to do is be able to specify whether a particular party gets plain sync/access or encrypted access - where files can only be accessed properly with a password (AES or such).

with that, for example, I can have my sister create a gmail account that I specify is an 'encrypted sync' target. and everything syncing up to that user will be secure.

If my computer is lost or busted, it should be as easy as setting up gbridge on another pc, putting in the password, and being able to get access to all the files on my sisters' computer assuming its on and connected.

This can become the DIY alernative to serices like carbonite and mozy.

I would prefer to use 3rd party encryption program.

At first we must "copy & encrypt" data on local hard drive. Then point gbridge to this encrypted location as source (SecureShare).

So our data will already be encrypted while it is being trasferred by gbridge to remote pc.

I am looking for a program, so my data should be encrypted & copied regularly "AUTOMATICALLY" to new folder in my pc.

May be some good zip program with password can help as well.

Please post here if someone find.

Thx.
