Great bit of kit, thanks very much

My only niggle is the location of the autosynced back up files, would it be possible to user select a folder to put them in. Or at least just a /root/gbbackup folder, to stop them cluttering up the root of my share.

Also, I understand the security issues that mean only my machines can RDP/VNC without an invite, that makes sense really. But say Gbridge is used by a small business where users sync files to each other, and to a server in an office, would it be possible to somehow allow all users in the domain(google apps) to have RDP/VNC access to the central office server? Or would this require separate software?

Cheers. :D

- location of backup file
We will consider to improve this.

- RDP/VNC without invite
you can specify a list of "Fully trusted user" in "advanced options", but please read the tooltip before configure it. For now there is no "trusted app domain" setting, but will consider to add it.

Thanks for the nice suggestions.

Any progress with this?

After a bit of changing around in the way I use Gbridge, the location of the autosync back up files is a bit of a bigger issue for me now.

Will this be changed in the foreseeable future? Just a gbridge-- subfolder in the secure share root is all thats needed, it doesnt need to be user selectable, that would just be a bonus.

Please, thanks.

kgb, can you elaberate the detail? what do you mean by "subfolder in the secure share root"? Thanks.

For example say I share my MyDocuments folder, currently the "--gbsync-1" files are in the MyDocuments folder with whatever else is in there too.

My suggestion would be to put them in a subfolder e.g. "/MyDocuments/gbridgebackup/--gbsync-1"

It would just make it an awful lot tidier, when the root folder of the secureshare contains files as well as folders.

So e.g. file /MyDocuments/text.txt won't get hidden next to text--gbsync-1.txt and text--gbsync-2.txt, etc.

Thanks in advance.
