Pardon me for being a VPN newb.

All the Gbridge communication so far is going over HTTP. Is this typical of a VPN connection?

If so, could someone explain how the Gbridge system is secure over HTTP?

You might consider adding the answer to the FAQ so that other newbs will see the answer...

Gbridge provides IP level security, just like other VPNs. Each individual IP packet (within the gbridge.net domain) is encrypted and authenticated, so all traffic, include http, are secure.

Gbridge's SecureShare and AutoSync are running on http over the Gbridge VPN. Note the Gbridge LiveBrowse http address is only valid when you have Gbridge enabled and logged into the right account. The http traffic within the gbrdige.net domain are tunnelled and encrypted by the underneath VPN.

It is a very good question. Thank you! We will add this to the FAQs
