Started Jan 30th, lots of users reported that they can not see other instances of their machines logged in using the same gmail username. As we were diagnosing this problem, we found that it is due to an update of Gtalk service server on Jan
30th. Some other 3rd party software is experiencing some issues because of this upgrade as well. see

We posted a bug report in google's support forum, meanwhile we are trying our best to reach them through other channels.

By reading that gbridge is not affiliated with Google, I'm getting the impression that maybe Google Gtalk has locked you out.

Just a Guess.

We have been informed by someone from Google's Gtalk team that they are working on this issue now, and a fix will be available likely in one day. Thank you, Gtalk team!

We knew that betting on Google's openness and the wonderful gtalk team is the most important decision we have made on Gbridge!

We have been informed by Google that the issue has been fixed and the fix has been rolled out to all servers. Our internal test shows that the fix does solve the problem. Thanks Gtalk team for the extremely fast response!

Not fixed. Still having problems connecting. Says gtalk cannot log me on and keeps asking for my user name and password. If it does finally connect my window shows no computers and flashes really quick every so often like it is getting ready to show computers but never does.

When you use Google talk and GBridge at the same time there are error's.. Really though, I've been to the end and back as to setting these two great applications to work simultaneously. Due to my job/life I’ve decided to work around it rather than cry about it. So this is more of a suggestion than a solution; but manage Google talk with Digsby and just uninstall Google talk all together. Digsby is a great application and has a plethora of settings and options I’m sure you’ll learn to love. Since digsby works through multiple ports and protocols you have the best possible connections to aim, gtalk, yahoo, facebook, skype, etc… But more importantly it WILL resolve your Google Talk/GTalk-GBridge conflicts since both use same servers and levels of security. Don’t forget to uninstall google talk and this error is on GTalk’s side not GBridge, so thank GBridge for working hard and send an email to google talk admin instead.

1. I'm really annoyed to see so much spam on these forums. It makes Gbridge look like it's an abandoned project.

2. I hadn't used Gbridge in over a year, and was finally in a position to use it again. I fired it up and got a notice to upgrade, which I did. Gbridge then promptly disconnected my Internet connection. WTF?

3. I wasn't running GTalk at the time, but I may have had Gmail/Google Voice open at the time on one computer, but not the other. As soon as Gbridge started on both computers, it killed the Internet connection (one hardwired, one WiFi).

Today, around 5pm I started to have "authentication problems" with GTalk, not being able to see any of the computers associated to my Gbridge Account.

I have already unlocked my account today three times...

The only status I get when I start Gbridge is: Disconnected
