Trouble Syncing Photos?

I'm new to Gbridge which I went to after Foldershare went bellyup. I've got the programs installed but it's having trouble fully syncing my JPEG photo files. It says I'm fully synced, but the files appear to be placeholder files that can't be opened. They have the extension gbsync-1. For the most part my Word files are syncing although a few have that extension. I'm concerned about the photos because apparently the sync has stopped, in other words it's not downloading more bits for those files to finish the sync; I try re-syncing but it tells me it's done. Please help. Thanks

Is there anything special about the photos that were not synced? How big are the gbsync-1 files? Do you have enough disk space?

Basically gbsync-1 files are older version of corresponding files.
