I assume you are using the embeded Desktopshare. When one sents an Desktopshare invitaion, the inviter can specify it is readonly or not.

I have the follow settings:

Send DesktopShare invitation to friends
Not allow

Access from my other computers by myself
Allow after verify DesktopShare password (use built-in VNC server)

I can see the desktop from my other computer fine, but is only viewonly.

p.s. I dont know if it makes any difference, but I notice on the Friends tab, my computer that works has a blue monitor, while the computer that is viewonly has a green monitor

The green computer icon means it is the "local" computer.

Is there any difference between your two computers? Gbridge version? (the latest version is 1180) Windows version?

You should be able to full-access your own computer via interval vnc server. Not sure what goes wrong.
