Great Job on this application!

I have done some testing, and found that you can setup Gbridge to sync folders in both directions. This works great except;

When a file is edited on either side a file is created in the destination folder with a --gbridge extension. This is the original file with the added --gbridge extension (the user can simply rename the file extension to gain access to the original file.) This is very similar to a revision history of most backup applications.

This is great, other than if there are a lot of changes in files the number of --gbridge files will continue to increase.

Here is the feature request.
1. Allow the user to turn this "revision history" function on or off.
2. Allow the user to specify another folder for the revision files to be saved in. (a local folder that does not get synced)
3. Allow the user to change the way the filename is created. Instead of changing the file extension, the user could have the filename change. originalfile.txt ---> originalfile--rev1.txt ---> originalfile-rev2.txt and so on.
4 Allow the user to select the number of revisions to keep

Keep up the great work!

In addition to this I'd like it if you could configure AutoSync behaviour a little more.

For example, I want to be able to configure how it merges files. So I could select a radio between "Always overwrite local file", "Overwrite local file if newer", and "Always keep local file". This could be more detailed in the future.

Another radio would be for deletion behaviour - "Ignore file deletion", "Put deleted files in the Recycle Bin", "Permanently remove local files that have been deleted", and "Backup local files that have been deleted".

Another would handle backup behaviour; an initial version could just give the option of backing up or not backing up, while this aspect could in the future become very complex, starting with isitus' suggestions.

Oh, and a "Don't notify on file changes" would be much appreciated. I know the file changed, I changed it. :)

The point of all this is that it's much easier for you guys than jumping straight into MirrorSyncs, it exposes a clear path for you to implement them as a combination of virtual (hidden) FolderSyncs and AutoSyncs, and it allows users to build a very complex network that's customised to their needs without making MirrorSyncs themselves more complex than they have to be.

+1 for two way sync.
One good example of two way sync is Microsoft Live Sync (formerly FolderShare)
Or collaborate some third party software, like Allway Sync.

I got to gbridge because I was looking for an alternative to microsofts live synch which no longer supports xp. It would be nice if there was a simple way to setup two synch. I got it to work relatively easy but it seems odd to have to set it up in both directions. Would be nice if you could just click a button for two synch.

I have just discovered this program and it seems too good to be true. I have become increasingly frustrated with the lack of control live mesh gives
(it was much better as foldershare) and this looks like a great replacement, but it is a real pain syncing my 4 pcs using gbridge.

I basically need to set up a folder that will be replicated to all my computers. This is possible with gBridge but I have to set up the folder as a secure one on each computer and then I have to sync each computer with each other computer - all on the same folder!
