View Full Version : Secure Share Issue and TVersity Conflict?

I recently installed Gbridge on my computer, and have run into a couple of issues along the way that I am hoping someone could help me with.

1) After installing, my TVersity Meadia Server was no longer able to see my PS3? Has anyone had a similar problem?

2) Second, I set up a secure share with a buddy, and he is able to see and download my stuff, but I am not able to even see his. He has other people that can see his, so I know it is not a problem on his end. I have disabled all firewalls XP and MacAfee, restarted the computer, and still had the same issue.

Any help on either issue would be greatly appreciated.

What is the Gbridge version you are using?

First your friend need to "unblock" you on his computer. Second you friend need to explicitly add you to the allowed-list of the SecureShare he want you to see.

Thanks for the quick response. I have uninstalled in order to get my TVersity stream working again, but if it has not chagned in the past week, I am running the latest version. As for my buddy, he thinks he did those things, but will check after work.

All set. It does turn out that my buddy did not add me to his allow list for the secure share as he thought, so that solved that. As far as the TVersity things goes, it seems that it got confused using Gbridge as a network resource, so I created a static IP, and assigned that within TVersity so it would only try to access my network card. I am a little green with this stuff, so although after doing so, this seemed like an easy solution, it took me quite a while to figure out, and understand :).

I got the same problem after installing Gbridge yesterday.
Here is the tricks :
1 - Open TVersity main window
2 - Go to "Settings" tab
3 - Enter the Lan IP address of your computer (not the Gbridge one) under "Home Network" group.
4 - Restart TVersity service

Et voilą! :cool:
