I've just installed Gbridge on one of my other computers and each time I try and log on it comes up "Authentication 72.14.235.125 error please check your username and password"
This I have done and everything is correct What am I doing wrong?

Is it behind a firewall or require you to use a proxy to access the network?
Can you upgrade to 1.0.0.1161 and retry? 1.0.0.1161 uses the newest gtalk login api and supports login in over port 443.

I am having the same problem.
I have an account that logs into GBridge just fine, but my sister-in-law gets the authentication error. When I try to log in as her, I get the error as well. I created a brand new GMAIL account and also fails to authenticate.
I can still log on with my own account.
Using version 1.0.0.1177

So you can login your account but cannot login a brand new gmail account on the same machine? Is there anything special about the username or password?

I started to experience this error 2 hours ago, but I'm working with no problems with gbridge for one month and half, and we haven't change nothing in the router config

I've check with another username and it's working fine, the problem for us is that we control from here with gbridge 2 computers that are located 300 miles far from here and they are unattended, there's no way to change the logon data, we need to access with the actual settings

Likely it is an issue caused by Google's Gtalk server, (Gbridge servers are not involved in the authentication process.), which is beyond our juristication. Sorry.

My gamil account has been working fine for two months and now I cannot log in (authentication problem). You do say not yoru jurisdication, but this is what you require for login. What are we supposed to do?!

Please try to log in using gtalk windows client.

We use the exactly same login library as gtalk use, and the library send the login information only to google servers.

I just tested it. I have no problem logging in using Gtalk with the username and password that no longer works with GBridge.

The issue is caused by recent google gtalk service change. We are trying our best to contact google to fix this issue. Thanks!
