Please develop mac version. We are running "hybrid" environment in our company (both Win & mac).

Or - have you tried run Gbridge on mac using CrossOver (Wine)?

since Gbridge needs to install a kernal driver, crossover won't work, sorry.

Good work, congratulations !

I bet for Mac, too.
I would be great having Mac and PCs sharing folders.

By the way, are you thinking in translation to other languages?. I´m spaniard and I offer my time for making the translation to spanish.

When will Google make a decision on making a mac version of Gbridge? What would it take to make that happen? A certain number of votes on this page? Would it be beneficial to get friends who are using Macs to post their votes on this page? Any info would be appreciated.

Google wont ever make a decision on it.

Unless they acquired the company behind Gbridge, atleast.

Then, what would it take for Gbridge to create a Mac version. More posts on this page?

I'd be able to help out with a Mandarin Chinese translation...all I ask in return is the promise of the prospect of GBridge for Mac in the near future!! :)

I don't own a Mac, but a Mac version would be cool. Better yet, if it ends up ever being possible, would be a future version that would be cross-platform capable, so that it could run on anything - at least Windows, Linux, Mac... in general. It may not be possible, but it'd be too cool.

As a side note, I want a Mac, but just so I can play with one. So, for me, the Mac version is just a want, but I can feel the pain of those who already own a Mac but can't use Gbridge there yet. One of these days, maybe I'll get my hands on something like a used MBP. Again, this is going a bit off topic.

Yes, a Mac client would be wonderful. I haven't played with Gbridge much since I just saw it recommended on Lifehacker yesterday, but I can already see the potential. A Mac version would be great because that would fill the largest gap left by Hamachi after begin bought by LogMeIn.

Before I put my vote in for a Mac version - thanks for a very useful and productive app on Windows - GBridge is great software that just works - you guys obviously get it - and I've gotten a small group of friends using it Kudos. Understanding the complexities of creating a Mac Version - I believe NetGear uses a similar topology/technology that was aquired from Leaf Networks - I was going to recommend talking to them but I realize now it's harder with the aquistion - but good news for you guys! Any ideas of when the Mac version is on the roadmap?

Thanks,
Jay

i agree, these times it is no longer acceptable to not support multiple platforms. I am sure that with a carefully crafted architecture (according to your pattents) this should not pose too much problems! :D

Another vote for OS X. I'd even pay money for it, or contribute a little for conversion costs.

Also, I'm not sure why ano thinks that the page to which he refers
...i just realize there will never be a mac version: http://www.gbridge.com/ack.php

means there will never be an OS X version.
