(Prologue : I had some difficulty choosing which section to post to, out of General Topics or General Help... Couldn't they be merged actually ? )

Hi ! Got a question about the Chat - which will show off my ignorance I'm afraid. Is the system "store and forward" ? Assuming the addressee is off-line (his Gbridge not running at the moment I send him a message) will he get the messages upon opening his GBridge ?

If yes, it's working like I'd like it to, yeeppee; if not, shouldn't the system (Gbridge and/or Google chat together) warn and not accept outgoing messages to the absentee ?

Oh, and couldn't the Gbridge user interface show the online/offline status of friends' Gbridge networks ?

Cheers

Gbridge use Gtalk to send the chat message. I believe Gtalk is doing "store", but not forwared. i.e., the missed chat message is stored as an email to the corresponding gmail account.

For the friends Gbridge idle/active status, we are working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
