Hi Administrator & Everybody !

I installed & updated to GBridge 1.0.0.1138 on windows 2000.
I have sent GBridge invites to brother - each of us has his own GMail account.

For a start, I'd like him to be able to access the sample share on my computer, and vice-versa.

Under the SecureShare tab, I have "me, brother" as 'allowed users'. Alright,

but under the Friends tab, under Invitations sent, brother is shown with a "no way" sign : baloon says he's "blocked" and "right click and select unblock"
BUT !!!! right-click menu has got only Resend and Cancel invitations - the same as left-click !

This appears to be a gross bug, so gross I may well be missing something obvious unless it is something on my system; usually I use a non admin account but I even tried as the administrator, to no avail.

Thank you for trying to provide a simple and useful VPN-like program...

[added piece of info] Brother's Gbridge is not yet installed on his side. Is it needed to be running for the no-way road sign to disappear ? If this were indeed the cause of this apparent "bug", I would suggest revising help and the legends of the messages and menus...

Thanks, Czerno!

For now you can only unblock a friend if he is already in your friend-list (i.e. after he accept the invitation), and you cannot do it if he is only in the invited-list. It is an overlook. We will fix this soon.

It's OK, Admin! For now I think I've figured how this works by using GBridge between my physical PC and a virtual machine. Very nice piece of work !

I can't wait till bro' has installed his side so we can test run the real thing !

When the tunnel is established, can we use any IP based programs and utilities over the GBridge virtual network interface, beyond what GBridge GUI is providing ? For instance, Telnet to a GBridge DNS hostname or by IP number, or another VNC flavour than comes built in ?

Understanding that it is closed source, yet did you/will you document the principles involved to an extent that one can assert the security and privacy of communications established through GBridge ?

Regards
