Hello all,

I just installed Gbridge on my desktop for the first time with great hopes. Unfortunately within minutes I found that my Xbox 360 could no longer access my desktop, and I could no longer RDP into it from my notebook!

After some troubleshooting I found that if I disabled the new VPN connection in the network connections panel I gained back my RDP access. I also noticed that all of my file and printer sharing services had been disabled and had to turn those back on manually. Orb and TVersity took some effort, but I managed to get them functional again. But with the VPN turned back on I lose all access again.

What am I doing wrong here? I'd love to use this service, but not if it shuts off access to my other connections to my computer.

Thanks!

If you are running vista, you can make your gbridge network "private" and retry.

I'm running Vista Ultimate x86.

I'll try to get the rest of the info to you as soon as I have time to reinstall it and test it in person. Since it kills my RDP I can't do it from my notebook where most of my time is spent.

Thanks!

yea i noticed that setting it to private fixes a lot of other connection issues. is there a way to keep it set on Private? it randomly switches back to public every so often.
